New Tip on Upright Barbell Row
Exercise: Upright Barbell Row
Tip: Be cautious of this one. I dont say an exercise is bad to follow the crowd, but I don't feel right performing upright rows this way. I prefer to take a wider grip, lean very slightly forward and pull no higher than lower chest level, focusing on my delts rather than traps. Even then I use a lighter weight and higher rep range otherwise I feel I would end up injured in the long run. Not saying this is the same for everyone and I have seen some great shoulder development in guys who use this exercise and prefer it over presses. If it hurts don't do it or find a way that works for you.
