Exercise: Calf Press On The Leg Press Machine
Tip: CALVES must be be trained 2-4 days a week for about 12 weeks straight you may take 1 week off (on the 13 week) to rest the calves.. by the end of the year you will see great improvements.. Take photos and measurements before and after the year..
To really focus on the calf muscle try doing this with very flexible shoe, sandals, in socks or bare foot... Have a slight bend in your knees and keep legs stiff (no movement in knees), use full range of motion (heal all the way up as high as you can go, heal all the way down as far as you can go), With some sets use a heavy weight that you reach muscle failure between 10-20 reps, 15-30 reps, 25-50 reps..... do between 5-10 sets on this machine,, (10-20 sets total from all machines).. Use a slow controlled speed and a medium controlled speed.. Stretch calves slightly between sets.
** Do this exercise along with SEATED CALF RAISES, STANDING CALF RAISE, DONKEY CALF RAISES, (and 10-20 minutes of any of the following cardio) STAIRMASTER, JUMP ROPE, STIFF LEG JUMPING **
