Chocolate Fig Thumbprint Cookies make the most of one of my favorite fall ingredients – figs! Figs and chocolate are a rich, delicious filling for tasty shortbread thumbprint cookies. 

It’s Friiiiiiiiiidayyyyyy!!! I’m bring you some delicious little cookies for your weekend baking project because, let’s face it, you always could use a little more chocolate in your life on the weekend.

I have been obsessed with fig jam every since I had it in Italy. It’s the perfect addition for any meat and cheese plate, plus a little fig jam and ricotta on a toasted piece of bread is the best snack you’ll ever eat in your entire life.

Well, until you try one of these little thumbprint cookies, that is.
